Heads of cabbage are large, tightly twisted, weighing 1.5-1.7 kg. Sowing in July. It grows well on sandy or light loams.
Chinese cabbage is sometimes referred to as a leafy vegetable, because it is cut off like a raw salad before serving.
There are leaf semi-headed and typically headed forms. Cold-resistant, moisture-loving.
Very early crop, easy to grow in open and closed ground. A plant of a short daylight.
Prefers fertile soils with low acidity.
